Expedia—Content Strategist
We created the Conversation Design System documentation so content strategists, designers, developers, researchers, etc., could find all information about Expedia conversation design in a centralized place.
Challenge
• Gather and compile content and guidelines from content strategists, designers, researchers, etc., on one website.
• Write easy-to-understand guidelines that address the entire team’s needs, from basics to highly technical content.
Action
• Collaborated with the larger team to make clear, intuitive, discoverable guidelines.
• Wrote new guidelines and rewrote existing guidelines.
• Created a study to test whether the content was clear and easy to find, and whether we were missing anything.
Value
• Conversation Design System documentation was comprehensive and was located in a centralized place.
• People from different teams/professions could easily find information specific to their needs.
